In fact, some legal experts believe this ruling permits government to use condemnation "to replace any Motel 6 with a Ritz Carlton, any farm with a factory, or any home with a shopping mall." The Wisconsin Homeowners Alliance thinks it’s wrong to allow government to condemn your home for the benefit of a private, third party. Please help us enact Assembly Bill 657- legislation that prevents the condemnation of homes for the purpose of selling to private parties. Call you legislators at (800) 362-9472 and Governor Doyle at (608) 266-1212 and ask them to enact this bill into law, before it hits home.
